Jordanian Farmer’s Experience
Learn about the local traditions and culture of Jordanian farmers by
participating in their daily chores while enjoying unconventional activities in
the outdoors. This hands-on experience includes collecting free range eggs,
chasing chicken, milking a goat, bottle feeding baby, orphan goat, baking saj
bread from whole wheat flour, going on a tractor ride and an optional donkey
ride for 1 JOD to be paid for the donkey owner. After the fun-filled activities
are over, you will be rewarded with a homemade farm-to-table meal served by
Bookagri farmer family. This meal will be followed by freshly firewood cooked kunafeh
with goat cheese, nuts, and sugar syrup. Sipping your cup of mint tea in the
fresh air will make you want to come back for more.
